Ah ha ha ha! Perfect! This is one of my favorite videos and songs. I wish I could bend like that robot model. I got to see the the band play it live for free here when the casino first opened.

"Electric Barbarella" was DD's first post-1985 (post Roger & Andy, in other words) song that I truly loved (though I've always liked "Come Undone" a lot) and ranked up with their classic hits. Love the lyrics, too -- Nick's got a nice way with words.

Same here! This song was the first post-1985 song I loved, and still love. This video cracks me up, and I love your duranalysis of it. Spot on.

I always feel faintly ashamed for liking this video. I mean, Canada hates it. But... it's shiny and fun and absurd!

The scene where they hand her a curling iron... At first I thought it was a vibrator (why on EARTH would that cross my mind??) but then I thought, why would they give a vibrator to a sex-bot? But then again, why anything, in this video? I love it.

Luindriel, yeah, in your defense, it sure seems like the sexbot also assumes the curling iron is a vibrator at first...
